- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a market leading local business to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their established team due to an internal promotion. The ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role, be an active studier and have at least 2 years experience although degree educated candidates with no experience will also in considered.
Duties include but are not limited to;- Reconciliation of some bank accounts
- Auctions Accounting
- New stock and Second hand stock accounting
- Various cost reallocations, store cash shortage/overage investigations
- Actively being involved in the month-end process
- Dealing with everyday store queries
- Dealing with field support queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
- Liaison with all internal departments
- Studying towards professional accounting qualification
- Good time management skills with the commitment to delivery on deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident self starter with sound analytical skills, able to operate under pressure and resolve conflicts.
- Broad all round systems and PC skills.
- Team worker and good at building relationships.
- Preferred experience in Sun accounting package
- Sociable and very well organised.
