- Kenneth Brian Associates are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well established company based in Croydon. They are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their exceptional team on a temporary basis 3 month basis and offering remote working once training has been completed and then you will be required to go to the Croydon office twice a month.
The candidate will need to be available to start immediately!
Duties and Responsibilities will include- To process all supplier invoices and staff expense claims (using Sage 50), ensuring that all expenditure is coded accurately and is approved at the appropriate level
- To maintain payables ledger, matching payments made by Direct Debit with relevant invoices and corresponding with suppliers to resolve any outstanding issues
- To prepare and process weekly supplier payment runs including staff expenses, as well as any urgent or ad hoc payments
- To file all invoices, expense claims and other supporting paperwork
- To process all petty cash and credit card expenditure reconciliation
- Support with month accruals and month end
- Support the finance manager with ad hoc tasks
- Previous experience in an accounts payable role
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Adaptability to change and works well under pressure
- Excel and MS Office skills
- Team player skills
- 'Cando’ attitude and ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of accounts payable is desirable
