- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with an insurance broker based in Surrey/South London, who have an opportunity available for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team.
This is a key role within the business, who are well established but continue to grow. They offer a competitive salary plus benefits package, and support in relation to further insurance qualifications.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Mentoring, training and developing of all direct reports, ensuring that targets are met for service, sales, quality and development
- Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring that staff comply with processes and procedures
- Taking responsibility for any customer complaints, ensuring that they are handled within timeframes and regulatory requirements
- Provide operational reports to the board, based on performance, and including action plans for identified issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, insurers and service providers
- Dealing with HR issues in accordance with employment legislation
- Identify and drive operational improvements within the business to ensure customers receive the best possible service
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Strong technical insurance background is essential
- CII or ACII qualification
- Good understanding of insurance regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the confidence and ability to work with a team of managers and board of directors
- Management experience
- Enthusiastic, approachable and enthusiastic
