Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an amazing company who can’t do enough their staff and who are going through a period of growth to recruit for a Finance System Analyst on a permanent basis to join their team in Redhill.

Reporting directly into Finance Director and working in a small team of 4 you will need to liaise with various other divisions including company stakeholders. To be considered you will need to have strong systems skill’s ideally being a Superuser within your previous role and will have an advanced knowledge of Excel.

Key duties:

  • Become the main point of contact for all finance system user queries
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand ad hoc user requirements
  • Provide support and training to the ERP system user base
  • Accountable for the reliability and availability of financial data
  • Review current Accounting processes to identify potential improvements
  • Take ownership of preparing IT systems budget for year
  • Take a lead on documenting Accounts Team Processes and Procedures Manual
  • Being a small team will sometimes be expected to cover for transactional accounting tasks
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of all ERP master data updates and queries
  • Assist with some month end tasks such as reconciliations
  • Help to ensure validity of financial reporting data
  • Streamlining systems and procedures for accounting including month end processes, reporting, etc
  • Assist FD with various analysis in MS Excel eg profitability analysis
  • Assist with year end financial audit
  • Various ad-hoc process improvement projects

About you:

  • Experience of working with ERPs eg Superuser
  • A track record of improving accounting procedures
  • Good knowledge of accounting processes
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Willingness to continually challenge status quo and drive process improvements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Multi-currency experience desirable
