- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of a well known construction company based in Surbiton who are looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a worked within a similar role and will be happy to work in Surbiton 3 days a week.
Your main duties will include;- Run and maintain sales invoices ensuring raised in line with clients’ invoice cycle.
- Weekly sub-contractor pay
- Preparation of weekly& monthly payrolls for PAYE and making payments to HMRC.
- Preparation of Monthly Management accounts to produce meaningful monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Management reports with accompanying detailed analysis. Reporting to MD and Operation Manager.
- Finalisation of quarter and year end figures for external accountants.
- Cash flow forecasting
- Inter-company reconciliations and contra invoicing.
- Regular bank account, loan and invoice discounting reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and uploading to HMRC
- Financial administration of leases and hire agreements for vehicles and equipment used within the business
- Management of 4 accounts staff
