- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of an established company based in Chessington who are looking to hire a Finance Manager on a part time basis, this can be done over 3 or 4 days a week. The Finance Manager will be required on a temporary assignment with the possibility of a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role and will be immediately available or on a short notice period.
Responsibilities:- Run and maintain sales invoices ensuring raised in line with client's invoice cycle.
- Weekly sub-contractor
- Preparation of weekly & monthly payrolls for PAYE and making payments to HMRC.
- Preparation of Monthly Management accounts to produce monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Management reports with detailed analysis.
- Finalisation of year end and quarterly figures for external accountants.
- Co-ordinate and direct the preparation of the cash flow forecast and report variances
- Inter-company reconciliations and contra invoicing.
- Regular bank account, loan and invoice discounting reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and uploading to HMRC
- To undertake any duties according to the needs of the company
- Sage 50 and Sage Payroll experience beneficial
- Excel
- Prior experience of managing a team
- Strong organisational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
