- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a lovely company who are a leader in their field to hire a part time Finance Manager on a 14 month contract. The ideal candidate will live have experience within a similar role and will live local to Wallington as this is a office based role.
The working hours are 15 hours per week which would ideally be done over 3 days.
Key Responsibilities:-- Contribute to the overall objectives of the business by providing advice and guidance on financial and operational strategy.
- Maintain systems, policies, and procedures to ensure proper and efficient financial management of the company.
- Maintain accurate and regular management accounts, reporting against budget, analysing, and providing commentary for the CEO and Directors.
- Manage Xero, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and correctly assigned
- Process of weekly supplier payment runs
- Manage the company’s bank accounts
- Monitor customer invoice payments and debtors, respond to invoice queries
- Prepare monthly payroll data for external provider
- Process of month end including posting journals in Xero
- Fixed Assets management
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for management accounts and cashflow.
- Liaise with external Accountants for statutory account generation and to ensure proper financial management of the business.
- Generate and respond to official demands from Government departments (e.g. HMRC) including any and all statutory needs.
- Quarterly VAT return submission
- Year-end processing
- Assist senior colleagues with analysis and planning to help develop and scale services across the whole business.
- Oversee all business financial and administrative functions, including but not necessarily limited to HR, Payroll, Finance, etc.
- Help ensure that accurate records of customer and supplier contracts are maintained
- To lead by example, undertaking any duties necessary to support the general finance and administration of the business.
- To ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Health and Safety policy, equal opportunities policy and other policies and procedures that are provided.
- To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required by your line manager.
