- Kenneth Brian Associates are working on an exciting opportunity for our client based in Chessington, who are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team.
This is a busy and varied role, and will include:
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure deliveries are booked in promptly, and that customers are kept up to date with any changes to their orders
- Purchase order preparation and product setup
- Using Excel to track production schedules
- Corresponding with vendors in the UK and internationally
- Maintaining delivery trackers
- Accurately entering goods received onto the finance system
- Investigating and clearing of goods booked in, resolving any anomalies
- Setting up new products on the system
- Processing freight invoices and posting onto the system
- Administration of purchase orders
- Setting up new suppliers
- Support for the ordering, receipt and processing of products
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Accuracy and high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Proficient in MS Office packages, with the ability to learn new systems
