- Kenneth Brian Associates are working exclusively with a well known retail brand based in Richmond. Our client operate in over 50 countries worldwide and are growing at an impressive rate. With this in mind we are looking to recruit an accountant who has stock experience working in a fast paced finance environment.
As part of your role you will be expected to support the finance team in a timely and accurate manner, providing information to management where needed, whilst liaising with multiple departments from Sales to third-party distributors.
Key Duties:- Maintain accurate stock levels on Sage
- Liaise with 3rd Party liaisons to obtain an accurate weekly pallet count
- Raise all necessary paperwork for efficient receipt of stock
- Liaise with 3rd Party liaisons to ensure timely booking of stock
- Processing of stock invoices
- Raise payments for stock invoices
- Reconcile HQ statement & agree inter-company balances
- Maintain accurate stock files including volumes & values and ensure all information is easily available for yearly audit
- Reconcile the stock balance sheet account at month end
- Produce production forecasting schedule & send to HQ
- Work with HQ factory regarding deliveries to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Keep accurate product prices on Sage
- Stock meeting presentation notes
- Advice Sales team of any changes in prices
- Supply monthly report to 3rd Party liaisons for accurate charges
- Liaise with Sales & Marketing teams to order new products in a timely manner
- Support the Head of Finance with the annual audit
- Provide holiday cover for Purchase ledger when needed
- Strong operational background and 3rd Party liaisons knowledge
- Previous stock experience is essential
- Strong communication skills
- Professional approach, strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively use MS Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
