- ***Interim role for 3 months to cover notice period before permanent hire starts***
Reporting directly to the MD, the purpose of the role is to take ownership of the small finance function.
This position will work closely with all the divisional heads of the business on a daily basis too.
Main responsibilities include:- Production of monthly Management Accounts pack
- Undertaking Financial, Product and Project Analysis and extensive reporting
- Preparation of annual budget and periodic re-forecasts
- Delivering WIP reports, cash flow and balance sheet forecasting and reporting
- Managing, mentor and motivating the small accounts team
- Ensuring robust systems and controls are in place, suggesting improvements where needed
- Functional oversight and approver for accounts payable/receivable
- Monitor multi-currency cash balances
- Control of cost accounting process for manufacturing sector of business
- Supporting the external audit process
- Updating and implementing system improvements on Xero.
