- Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a charity based in Leatherhead, who are seeking a Community Fundraiser to join their team.
The organisation are expanding, so this is a fantastic opportunity to join them and make a real contribution during this growth period and beyond.
The role will involve:
- Engaging with and encouraging volunteer and community groups to raise funds and awareness
- Maintaining strong relationships with staff, volunteers, and existing and potential supporters and donors
- Training and managing groups and individuals to encourage greater support
- Recruiting new volunteers and encouraging community groups to provide support
- Plan, coordinate and deliver community fundraising and events across the UK
- Attend networking events, give talks and presentations
- Keep accurate records on the fundraising database, maintaining and creating records, updating information and running reports
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in community fundraising and managing volunteers
- Awareness of legal and financial aspects of volunteer management, licensing and charity law
- Knowledge of safeguarding rules, regulations and implementation
- Strong skills in public speaking, presenting, negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- Flexible and enthusiastic with the ability to work on own initiative
- Able to work some unsociable hours including evenings and weekends
- Full, clean driving licence
