- Description
- Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting a Client Payroll Administrator on behalf of a firm of chartered accountants based in the Guildford area. This role will be either part or full time (minimum 25 hours, maximum 40 hours per week) and will offer flexible working with the expectation to be in the office twice a week.
To be considered for this role you must have experience of payroll administration working for an Accountancy Practice.
Key Responsibilities:-- Independently managing over 100 monthly payrolls from start to finish. Working quickly and efficiently to strict deadlines
- Processing deductions, bonus & overtime payments, starters & leavers, sick pay (SSP), statutory parental pay (SMP & SPP), advanced maternity pay, attachment of earnings (AEO), salary sacrifice schemes, calculating holiday pay, and termination payments
- Producing payroll summary reports & payslips, and distributing them via online portals
- Setting up net salary payments via BACS
- Ensuring each clients’ statutory employer responsibilities are met, including P45s and P46s
- Completing end of year payroll returns i.e. P60s and P11Ds
- Posting monthly payroll journals for individual companies and managing the reconciliation of their PAYE & NIC control accounts directly, or in coordination with their accountancy teams
