- Kenneth Brian Associates are exclusively partnering with a well known and exciting UK brand based on the outskirts of Epsom, although this role will be based from home for the foreseeable.
This is an exciting position which will report directly into the Payroll Manager and Payroll Supervisor.
Duties:
You will be part of a team for a large weekly and monthly payroll from start to finish for approximately c4000 employees. You will ensure that all statutory deductions are accurate and on time - all HMRC submissions are made correctly & any payroll queries resolved.
As the Payroll Consultant, you will make System improvements, ensure the current payroll software is being updated and where needed implement new processes.
Producing payroll related reports for the wider business.
To be considered for this role - candidates must have experience of running a high volume weekly payroll, you will also have experience across multi site areas.
Other Duties:- Must have an understanding of all payroll policies and procedures
- Close contact with HR and finance team members
- Understand TUPE rules and contract obligations
- Ownership of ad-hoc payments
- Ensure accuracy of information for HMRC
- Ensure compliance in line with HMRC for payroll department
- Ensure P45 and P60 information is released in timely manner
- Monthly returns for HMRC
- Maintain pension contributions and information
- Up-Skill existing team and deal with reviews for the team
- Understanding the current Furlough process
